Champion

Being a wine cellar instead of a bar, this project overall design sustains winemaking undertones. Cladding fire-bricks at the outer layer of insulation wall implies how wine cellars keep humidity and temperature in Burgundy, France. Situated at the core of the layout upstairs, the combination of brass and rusty steelworks is inspired from the still, the apparatus of distilling whisky, providing a centralizing, moderate, distance to serve every customer. A continuity of arc can be seen on the logo, bar façade, and other elevation details from spaces, implementing the unison of corporate image.

The Memory of Poetry

The design reflects the connotation of culture and works with national culture has great development potential. The project is located in Wuyi New District, Nanping City. The designer combines contemporary oriental art with the ladder-sequence shape of Wuyi tea mountains and Hakka enclosed dwellings, refines art installation elements, and uses modern skills, materials, and technology to uncover the city heritage. As to this modern sales office nourished by humanities and nature, designers prefer to define it as an "urban art museum".

Beyond The Flow

The designer utilized the fire elements, smoke, and aroma in this project and projected them into the design concept. The design used the benefits of the large windows, using them to create a reflective pane to improve the iron ring's aesthetic and blend the exterior and courtyard inwards. The interior and exterior succeed in maintaining a consistent feel through smart lighting placements and geometric shapes. The restaurant benefits from the dim and earthy tones of the spatial colors to improve customers' experience through the sense of comfort from both the colors and curved lines.

Shuffle

Shuffle executive lounge and club is a unique social space that acts as a filter between its internal space and the city outside. The club is designed with different spaces along a progressive path. The path starts from the minimal façade to the reception area with over a hundred illuminated cylinders, then proceeding to the lounge area, which is decorated with 300 bottles that are programmed to illuminate along with the music. Each space is a temporal field giving a unique sensory space.

Realm of Mind

The design team skillfully used boulders and plants to embellish an elegant Japanese philosophy. At the same time, the screen door, wood, and linear elements outline the oriental aesthetics of vertical and axial interweaving. It is worth mentioning that the design team paid extra attention to the color scheme between each area. Even the game space is with a playful atmosphere. It can echo the whole architecture and show the features of a single space so that users can enjoy space when entering each area.
