Continue readingThe owner is a famous astrologist in Taiwan. She hosts a live-streamed horoscope talk show with celebrity guests at her own house. This house both home and her work place. The challenges with designing this old apartment of three decades comes in the form of height and poor interior management. The maximum height under the beam is 2.13 m which in turn presents an overall vibe of constrain. The modification has given it a new look, giving more space for some sun and additional greenery inside.
Continue readingThis design project escapes from the existing image of the traditional old industrial district to emphasize the advantages of greenness by the waterfront, structuring the modern and elegant overall ambiance, demonstrating the dignified, tranquil spatial tone via the flowing natural light. Furthermore, a complete white open space is applied at the main entrance, with suspended glass tubes resembling a hanging curtain, hinting at the white lines of the exterior together with the image language of the waterfront, the overall spatial styles and color tones are decorated using the furniture.

In order to preserve this important design element of the private dining room, the design team and artists hand-created the ceiling on the site, molded it with clay and fixed it on the ceiling, and then adjusted the plum blossom to the ideal shape, which lasted 15 days.

The forward-looking design strokes shape the integrated presentation of various spatial organizations.

Yuyuyu is a Chinese restaurant, designer have created a new way to express Oriental design, a new Installation composed of lines and dots, those are extended from the door to the inside of the restaurant. With the change of times, people's aesthetic appreciation is also changing. For contemporary Oriental design, innovation is very necessary.
