Luminous Serenity

Luminous Serenity is a residential interior design in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The apartment was created as a calm retreat for a young student of medicine. The design follows the philosophy of wabi-sabi and uses natural materials such as stone, wood, and plaster. Daylight enters through timber louvers, so light and shadow shift through the day. Eco friendly plasters, driftwood, tree bark veneer, and seamless flooring were applied over the existing base to reduce waste. Minimal demolition keeps the original layout, while an open kitchen island links the living and dining areas.

The spatial choreography utilizes compression and release to guide visitors through a progressive ritual of thresholds.

Luxury Whispers

Luxury Whispers is a residential interior design for a 168 square meter home in Taipei City, Taiwan. An open plan connects the living room, study and dining area, so natural light reaches deep into the home. Curved elements soften sharp corners, and a vaulted ceiling adds a sense of height. Materials include large format tiles, marble, titanium coated panels, fluted glass and natural wood veneer. Layered indirect lighting creates a warm atmosphere.

Red Brick

Red Brick is a hotel interior at Qinglong Mountain, created through the adaptive reuse of an old wharf. Reclaimed red clay bricks form a light permeable screen instead of a solid wall. The bricks are perforated and held by a concealed stainless steel system, so no wet mortar is used on the facade. Daylight passes through the small openings and casts changing patterns on the interior surfaces. The dry assembly protects the fragile bricks, reduces water use and allows later disassembly. The project reuses heritage material as an active building element.
