By defining a series of sub-spaces which have various scales but interact with each other well, the architect establishes the episode of introduction, development, and bridge, passing out the atmosphere of simpleness Time and space are evolved throughout the project, blurring the boundary of architecture, and combining humanity and nature. Therefore, the project is a perfect response to traditional Chinese gardens.
Continue readingThe design brief is to design a contemporary Marriott branded hotel 4500m2 that can articulate Marriott's international brand strategy, philosophy and globally consistent image while incorporate Fuzhou 2500 years' history and its rich unique cultural heritage as the design inspiration. The hotel features 318 exquisite modern rooms, three restaurants Goji Kitchen and Bar, Jasmine Chinese Restaurant, The Bao Specialty Restaurant and 1800 m2 large grand ballroom and meeting room area.
Continue readingThe project is designed to a giant space station wandering in the vast universe. The designer of this project aims to reflect the future and purity of the space station. The large area of metallic white sets off the future sense of science and technology of the whole space station cabin. Compared with the dark and deep universe, the pure white color adopts Aurora color, and refines the color in the aurora spectrum, reflecting the ever-changing gorgeous Nebula in the universe.
Continue readingThe overall design of the sample room is restrained, where light is integrated into the living room in a peaceful way, thus, weakening the quiet space. The warmth of wood in the master bedroom brings a restrained sense of tranquility and calmness, and accessories and lamps inject an artistic atmosphere into the space. The simple rooms seem to be like their ordinary demands for life, and everything is comfortable.
Continue readingThe design is presented by the romantic winding curved wall, which is similar to the desert color of Casablanca, Morocco, bringing a new visual experience and challenge to the main color of the space. Inspired by Mexican architect Luis Barragan, the building combines the essence of Mexico's visual heritage with the abstract forms of modernism, characterized by color, light and space.
Continue readingSoda Port contains a private dining compartment Tato and a main dining hall. Tato features an open kitchen with a pillar figurative of Macao tower. The main hall has a bar section and a dining corner. Bar area is a modern retro space paved with marble stone. Its patterns derive from the flagstone street of Senado Square, while the screen decorations serve to revive classic stained glass patterns. Design of the drinking bar brings back the mood of Macao in the 50s. On its left is a private dining corner in the context of historic Ruinas de Sao Paulo against a Portuguese tiled feature wall.
