Living Naturally

Living Naturally is the interior design of a four-floor villa in Tainan, Taiwan, shared by three generations of one family. Modern style is combined with Japanese design techniques, and natural materials such as plain surfaces and stacked wood create a calm and comfortable atmosphere. The outer walls are solid to protect privacy, while large windows face the inner garden. Glass partitions, including a floor-to-ceiling glass wall behind the sofa, extend daylight and open views. A sliding glass door between the living room and the dining room can be opened or closed as needed.

Urban Serenity

Urban Serenity is a residential interior design for a 96 square meter apartment in Taipei City. The layout connects the communal areas in an open and coherent way to support interaction between household members. The living room features horizontal shelving, and the dining wall is finished with imitation stone material. Grey wood tones are combined with white elements and varied textures, while lighting creates a delicate layering of light and shadow. Custom storage and lightweight materials, used for elements such as the television cabinet, keep the private areas calm and the space open.

Central City Park

Rsun Central City Park is a sales center located in Xuzhou, China. The interior design follows the concept of the aurora and extends the architectural form inspired by the Grand Canal. A streamlined acrylic installation is suspended across the hall like a river of light. Tree-shaped pillars and multicolored glass in the mezzanine create a calm negotiation area. A white sand table in the form of an ark stands on a mirror-polished reflective surface. High-saturation green and pure white are used as the main colors of the space.

Greater Hermit is a residential interior design for a 71.9 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The renovation divides the home into four rooms and narrows the corridor to gain more private area. Huizhou Bay Resort is a vacation club interior located in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China. The project covers about 836 square meters and was completed in May 2020. The design takes inspiration from nature and uses circular forms with simple detailing. Wood, Yabo gray marble, jade green marble, bronze metal and laminated glass are the main materials. Large windows and a semicircular wooden partition bring daylight and views of the mountains and sea into the space. The warm wood tones create a calm setting for guests seeking quiet away from the city.

Chinese Rice Noodle Restaurant is an interior design for a dining space in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. The project covers a total area of 400 square meters. Linear elements throughout the interior recall the shape of rice noodles, so visitors can recognize the type of food served. Wood veneer and imitation stone panels are used to refine the surfaces, while textured coating on the walls adds depth. The coating and the grating are simple to produce and install, and the construction was completed in one month.

Elegant Mansion is a sales center for a residential property development in Hangzhou, China. The interior also serves as a club for the residents. The negotiation area is spacious and filled with bright light. In the elevator hall, the ceiling is finished with rippled stainless steel sheet, which recalls the flowing water of the Grand Canal. The contract signing room is given elegant and delicate details. Wood-grain wall panels keep the room serene and solemn, while layered ink-wash fabric completes the space. The project covers 1081 square meters.

OMG

OMG is an open office located on the 35th floor of Gubei Soho in Shanghai. The interior is designed to promote interaction between spaces and people and to improve work efficiency. Half of the plan is a public area that welcomes clients and supports exchange, while the other half is a working area with independent design spaces and ancillary functions. Two conference rooms and two telephone booths are raised above the floor, reached by stairs and outlined by hidden light strips. Smooth curves and hot bent glass connect the structure to the ceiling.

New Century Magic

New Century Magic is a hotel interior design for families in Zhejiang, China. The project covers 9000 square meters and was completed in June 2019. The lobby and corridors use bright colors and playful forms inspired by a tube game played by Chinese children. A tubular device with openings at different heights invites both adults and children to take part, and it also conceals cables. Children reach the upper floors through tree houses and slides, while adults use elevators. The guest rooms stay calm and simple, so the hotel also suits business travelers.

Andaman

Andaman is a resort interior located in Xinchang. The design uses the black and white palette of Hui-style architecture to recall Jiangnan ink painting. The interior covers 1128 square metres within a three-floor building. Public functions are placed on the first floor and guest rooms above, which separates active and quiet areas. The first floor holds a check-in bar, a waiting and breakfast area with floor-to-ceiling glass, and a restaurant. Microcement paint gives the rooms a simple texture. Each upper room follows a different theme.

Cloud Residence

Cloud Residence is a sales center interior covering 800 square meters. The design takes the rhythm of the ancient city as its theme. Vertical metal lines form the base of the space and recall the character of an ancient walled city. White rhythmic lines wind around the metal lines and open the space towards the sand table area. The white lines are made of GRG, an economical material, and are finished with glossy art paint that shows subtle gradations of light and shade. Curved forms link the interior with the architecture and the landscape.
